### What are Shopify Payments fees?

For online card payments: Basic 2.9% + $0.30, Grow 2.7% + $0.30, Advanced 2.5% + $0.30, and 2.25% + $0.30 on Plus. Premium cards cost more (3.5% + $0.30 on Basic), international cards add 1% and currency conversion 1.5%. On Basic, a $100.00 order leaves $96.80.

### What does Shopify charge if I use PayPal or Stripe instead?

A transaction fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced, 0.2% on Plus, on top of the provider's own fee. A $100.00 card payment through Stripe on the Basic plan costs $3.20 plus $2.00. With Shopify Payments there is no transaction fee.

### When is the Grow plan cheaper than Basic?

Grow costs $66 more a month but takes 0.2% less per sale, so it pays off above about $33,000 of online card sales a month ($25,000 with yearly billing). Advanced beats Grow above about $147,000 a month.

### What are premium cards on Shopify Payments?

### Do I pay Shopify Payments fees on refunds?

Shopify does not return the processing fee of the original payment when you refund an order.
